You’ll need:
| 400g | Basmati Rice | 250mL | Coconut Milk |
| 1 tsp | Methi seeds | 2” | Ginger |
| 2 pcs | Screw pine leaves | pinch | Salt |
HOW TO:
- With a bit of oil, fry methi seeds and ginger till fragrant.
- Add in washed and drained basmati rice, fry a little bit so rice is coated with oil.
- Add in coconut milk, use the finger method. If not enough of liquid, can add water or coconut milk. Lastly tie Screw pine leaf into a knot, and submerge it in coconut milk. Add a little bit of salt.
- Bring rice to boil, then cover with a clean cloth and a tight lid.
- Let it cook on low heat for 30mins.
- REMEMBER: Do not lift up lid while cooking.
